How does one who has *no desire* to get motivated develop a desire to get motivated?

Thanks for the input. The faith in God approach does not do it for me. The other two approaches (balls and change of mindset) are great platitudes, that is to say, they answer the "what", not the "how." I'm looking for answers to the latter. Thanks.
