How does my mother-in-law know i am pregnant and i am only 6 weeks and have not...

...told her? Me and my husband had dinner with his family today and as we started eating everybody started talking and laughing and my mother-in-law suddenly winked at me and mouthed to me " your pregnant aren't you" and i nodded yes it was weird how she already knew. how is that possible?
 
Were you eating more than normal?

Did you pass on some wine?


I don't know. My brother can tell that woman are pregnant before they even know themselves.
 
My mom did the same thing to me and I had not found out I was pregnant yet. Sometimes women can sense changes in another woman that can only be explained for pregnancy. Once you become a mom, the signs will appear more to you as well with some people. Congrats and Happy Holidays
 
mothers intuition maybe she is just guessing . my mum knew before i told her and i was only 4 weeks congrads and good luck
 
well were you drinking soda or water and you normally drink alcoholic drinks. When my brother and sister-in-law told the family we went to dinner and they got to the restaurant first. We met them in the bar and I noticed she was drinking a coke and she normally drinks wine. That was a dead give a way. And congrats to you and your husband!!!!!

My mom just knew i was pregnant!
She had me take a test and before i took it i just kinda sat there and she was like telling me how to do it and i was just like "...okay."
and i told her everything then she asked my boyfriend if he already knew and he shook his head yes.After i proved to her that i already knew by taking another test my mom said....


"well you should have just told me before then we wouldnt have had to waist money on another test!" hahaha
 
You know what this is so weird you asked this question, but you are not the only one. I was 7 weeks pregnant and we had not told anyone and my Fiance's mother came to visit and she knew right away. It is really strange and I really can't explain it. LOL. Well, GOOD LUCK! and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
 
well maybe your husband told her by accident? if you dont have a good relationship with your MIL maybe he was too scared to tell you he told her/it slipped out!

Or maybe you were not drinking and it gave it away? Or something similar ... maybe your off a certain food and she just guessed?

However some people can just tell ... i dont know why and i dont know how ... but they just can! women are especially good at picking it up!

are you angry she knew .... or is it ok?

I hope your not mad ... why not ask her?!
 
Some people just have a feeling! My dad knew before I did..when I finally told him and my mom, he said " I was waiting for you to figure it out" Nice..I wish he would have told me..would have saved me tons of stress..LOL To top it all off, it was over the phone and they hadn't seen me in person in MONTHS!!

You must glow or something! =) Congrats!!
