I have to write an essay for my English class in which I "analyze how culture determines the role of a teacher in a first year composition class."
(I need to assess the ways in which race, ethnicity, class, gender, education and so on influence how first year composition is being/should be taught)
I was wondering if you guys had any ideas for me...

P S. This is a LONG paper, and it comes with three articles from different authors whose ideas I need to incorporate into my writing, so you don't need to worry that you are doing my homework for me
