How does corporate structure differ from military command structures?

There is a guy at the top --- he has a handful of people under him --- who enforce policy and wage decisions for everyone under him --- as the branches go down from the top they spread out further and further until you get to the level of a Private in the army --- They guy who can't give any orders --- he just recieves them

If he doesn't like it he can leave ---

----------------------

Shouldn't corporate law take this into account --- the people at the top who issue the orders need the least protection as they pass those rules down the chain and do not have to live by them ----- The Private or the guy at the bottom needs the most protection from undue or unfair orders --- as he must carry them out of leave

Shouldn't the laws of the entire society address these very real and obvious realities ?

Actually, he can't leave. He signed a contract and is obligated to fulfill that contract.

If he refuses to work, he can be put into jail.

This is reality in the military.

Hmm.. In fact very little as soon as company size cross some size limit. Say, I worked for Lockheed Martin - 100% military organiztion...FedEx is close, but is playing "We are nice guys" game

In a lot of ways things do work as you seem to wish. The gripes go up. In a military operation, if things go bad the blame goes all the way to the top many times. In this way corporations should be more like the military.
Instead when a company's stock goes to hell the CEO's still make big time bonuses and huge salaries. This doesn't happen all the time, but when it does it just wrong.
