I wouldn't worry about it. It really shouldn't have an affect especially if you get good grades. The scale may be more complex, but if you get good grades it shouldn't be much different. Maybe a little bit more strict but it truly doesn't matter. I'm in high school and trust me your middle school grades will mean nothing to you when you're a senior. Colleges really only look at high school, mainly junior and senior year but don't screw up your freshman year because then your whole high school career is basically screwed. Sorry I'm getting off track. Like I said, if it does affect it don't worry. If you get good grades it should be fine, but your good grades will only truly matter in high school but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try. If it turns out that if does affect your grades work a little harder, but don't kill yourself over it. I'm being completely honest when I say it's not a big deal compared to your high school years. Hope I helped

I'm in middle school and we're moving from a small town to a mid-sized city (new job for my mom). My present school rates 7 out of 10 on their report card but my new school (much more diverse student body, etc) rates 2 out of 10. I get really good grades. Will they be affected at the new school? I wish I'd never found greatschools.net. I was really excited about our new place until then.
