Test matches are of 5 days duration. If it could not produce result within 5 days, then it is called a draw.

Suppose, in this tests, Australia are batting second and hence they will bat last.

After the Aussie first innings is completed, the English will bat. They bat for a longer time and left Australia to chase an impossible target in a short time and Australia are unable to do so in the fourth innings despite having wickets, then it will end in draw. This will be called tame draw. If no results could be produced due to external reasons like rain, etc., then it will be called draw.

Welcome to cricket.

It ends in a draw when one team cannot chase another teams target by the end of 5 days. And that chasing team still has wickets in hand.
