How do you update samsung moment to 2.1 firmware...please please please help?

sorry for my language but i just have to say this...HOW THE **** do you update this shit! i downloaded the SWUpgrade, and i did the battery thing., and the FUCKING COMPUTER DOESNT FUCKING recognize the phone so on the updater program is says my phone is disconected.WTF can some one give me links ot step by step how to do it please please please..thanks..im SO frustrated
