a prerunner is the truck that racers take to the track to scope it out...so youre basically building a truck that can handle the racetrack, but also sustain itself in the event of a flat tire, broken drive shaft, and what ever situation comes about deep in the desert. most people just lift the front a little and call it a prerunner, but a real "prerunner" is whats used to check out the corse, and often used as a chase vehicle. mine is on its way but i have a lot of work to do still... but i have 2 spares, 4 ton jack, lots of light, fiberglass all the way around, lowrance gps, racing seats, front and back bumpers, skidplates, and a few other odds n ins.....the long travel suspension is in the works as well as the cage and when $allows a bigger motor.
my pics are kinda old, its all painted to match now and the wheels are a gunmetal color but you get the idea
