how do you tranfere images from a nokia 5230 to a pc?

i want to put some images on my pc.
i have the cable and i plugged it in. one time it says do you have the disk? but i was told you don't need one.
im really confused. i need some pics on here. help help help?
now it's not coming up. help please?
