how do you throw a birthday party in the sims 2 double deluxe with the open for

business? ok so this is my first time playing and getting this game.i really need to know how to throw a bithday party for a toddler to be a child and when i call and say ''Throw Party'' and click ''Birthday'' it says need friends i dont get that also do i need to have more than one friend to invite tons on ppl i really dont know PLZ HELP ME!!!

Well you do need friends or no one will show up. You don't really need to have a party for them to grow up, just buy a cake from buy mode and click on it. An adult will take the toddler and help it age to a child. :)
