How do you think the Garden of Eden was different from the lands around it?...

...Was it idyllic? Indeed, why was an excellent "island" (called Eden) needed in contrast to an entire earth that the Bible tells us little about.

... Well Ive always thought about the concept that in those days the Earth was an Ideal paradise in a natural way. the land was vibrant and strong. The garden of Eden was probably like a play pen for us God's newest models he decided to add. being the fragility with which we were made. He might'ev intended to have us stay in there and as we lived (Immortaly but Eve just wasnt feeling Immortality lol) he probably might have upgraded or altered us mid way to be ready for the un predictable lands outside.
