My house is all electric and I have a 3ft. and an 8ft baseboard that run off of the same thermostat--the 3ft comes on and the 8ft doesn't. If I test and see that there is 220 volts to the heater can I disconnect the power and check for continuity of the baseboard. Is this the proper way to test them or is there another method to get my answer. I've never heard of an electric baseboard going bad. Thank You
