My husband had a tumor removed from his testicle almost ten years ago (before I met him). When we decided to start TTC, he told me that his doctor said he would not have any sterility problems. We've been TTC for a year now and I'll be seeing my doctor today for my yearly and to figure out what are the next steps in diagnosing our fertility problems. Well, in the mean time, I researched the surgery he had ten years ago and found out that only one of his testicles can release sperm. How do I tell my husband that his doctor lied to him and that only one of his testicles is possibly functioning correctly? I'll have to discuss this with my doctor today anyway but then I'll head home to tell him what she said. How do I break the news or do I just say nothing and wait for him sperm analysis?
