I have a manuel 96 Prelude. I use the remote control to make the security go off. If I don't do this and just use my key to open the door, the alarm goes off. There is a red lamp near my gear/brake and when it is flashing, it wont let me ignite. When it's not on, it lets me. I would not even be able to ignite the engine while it is flashing.
My question is, would I need just remove the alarm or is there a different security system that I need to remove or adjust? Sometimes I get locked out of the car because the car would not pick up the radio wave from the remote and won't do anything. I want to make it so that all I have to do is just use the key and open the door, like the old cars used to be.
