I just bought a 1991 jeep wrangler and it has a soft top. I'm not sure how to get it off can anyone help? I watched a video for a 1994 but it wasnt the same as mine it had hooks under the sunvisors and my does not. Also if someone knows how to get the half doors off that would help a bunch to. Thanks in advance!

ok .. climb in .. look back and toward the plastic side window .. you will see a little slider bar and some notches on the supporting brace .. move this slider until it creates some slack in the top.. it wont make alot .. but enough .. im assuming its a "bestop" .. ok. .. now do the same on the other side .. once both of these are loose .. then go to the front of the jeep on the outside.... and "peal" the plastic edging out of the aluminum frame on top of the windsheild .... alight .. take a deep breath .. your almost there .. now slowly lift the front edge up ... it should start to move the center supports rearward .. unsnap your snaps as you go .. just keep an eye on it in all places to make sure that you dont over extend the plastic top... .. now that you have it down ... the rails on the sides match the rail on the windsheild .. peal it all out .. and you can completely remove the top.. i found this always worked best.. some tops come with tie straps.. go that route if you wanna .. thanx and have a great day.
