I am a complete amateur with my digital camera - all I can do really is turn the flash on or off, then I just point and click! However, I'm doing a project in which I really need to take some nice photographs of some dolls that I have made. I have seen other people's photos where the background is all hazy and blurry, and the thing that they are photographing is very sharp and clear in the foreground. I think it looks lovely and would really like to achieve this effect for my photos.
Can anyone tell me (in as simple terms as possible) how to do this? My camera, as far as I know, has quite a lot of features and I'm sure I could do lots with it, if only I knew how!
