How do you sync songs onto your mp3 using media monkey?

Hey... I just downloaded media monkey because I was having problems getting music on my mp3 player along with the album art. But I don't understand how to get the music from the library onto my mp3! It shows up, but when I click Sync, nothing happens! I've also tried dragging and dropping, but nothing happens then, either. Does anyone know what to do?
