How do you stop hating college?

I have been in my first semester of college for a month now. I hate everything about it. The only thing I look forward to is my Psychology class. When I was in high school, I couldn't wait to get into college. Now that I am there, I can't stand it. I find myself skipping some classes just because I can't bring myself to go. I zone out because I can't concentrate. I just hate it. I don't know what to do anymore. I can't drop out because I know I need an education to get a good job. So any suggestions on how I can stop hating it so much, so I don't fail out?

take more notes.
challenge yourself to write down the things the instructor says. the emphasized things.
you know some crappy things about school now that your there.
look for the good things.
play paintball?
it wasn't until after i played paintball that i started approachin school as a paintball game.
its kill or be killed, via grades.
get off your cell phone.
do homework.
study notes.
ask your professors some ideas.
maybe talk to your psych prof., one ya get along with.
realize there are kids in other countries who would literally kill you to have your opportunity.

That happened to me my first semester.... What I would recommend is to try and challenge yourself, since your classes (other than psychology) aren't interesting. Like maybe try to get straight A's in your classes, or if you're just completely not interested in the classes, make friends! Someone to talk to every time you go into that particular class, then it could be a little more interesting. Hope this helps!
