We recently let a friend move in with us. I have 2 dogs of my own she has 2 dogs too. So my house is a mad house with dogs all the time. When she goes to work she puts her dogs in the outdoor kennel. They have always been out there, so its not like its a new thing. (They can't be left inside because the one dog plays to rough with my black lab) However, the husky mix is driving me, my family and my neighbors crazy with the whining and crying, he does it ALOT! I am at the point where I am going to tell her to find another place for either the dog to go or all of them to go and I feel so bad, would just like to end the noise and get the piece and quiet back for everyone! PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS MAY HELP!

You and your friend need to find out why he is barking and crying out there. There is no need to remove the vocal cords. What a ridiculous suggestion.
Try to keep him entertain while he is out there. Maybe a long walk before she leaves will help the Husky to relax.

I suggest that you apologize to your neighbours.

There's really nothing you can do about it.. dogs will whine, cry and bark. Just like we talk, and cry.. it's in their nature. The only thing that you can do to get it to shut up is to get the vet to cut their vocal chords out (not sure what this procedure is called) I however am against that as I believe that a dog should be able to talk just as much as we are.

You could try some calm classical musical on a low volume so that the dog may be lulled into a sleep.
