I put the key in the ignition, but the engine won't turn over. The lights come on. I also tried the choke, but nothing.

I seriously hope you aren't riding it. I'm not being mean, but your question indicates that you haven't completed the MSF course, let ALONE the basic testing needed for a Moto permit OR license.

Please read up a bit and study, and if you DO ride, keep it in a parking lot!

Make sure the engine cut on/off switch is in the on position (should be something like a circle with an arrow, the off part is the same but usually with a line or cross through it). Press the engine start button (usually under the engine cut on/off switch). Make sure you are in neutral but if in first, keep the clutch disengaged, but I suggest neutral. The engine cut on/off switch and the engine start button should be on the right side of the handle bar with the throttle.

Use the choke to help warm the engine up but don't leave the choke open.

Good luck and ride safe.

push start it if i doesn't star normally. What you could do is hold the clutch in and shift it into say 3rd gear then push is fairly fast then pop the clutch and when it starts pull the clutch back in a go on like u normally would.
