How do you solve for the speed of this bicycle in this question?

A boy and his bigger sister are riding a bicycle at a speed of 3.5m/s. The boy wishes to get off the back but knows that if he just stands up he will topple over. So instead he pushes himself off the back of the bicycle with just enough force that he has zero horizontal velocity when he lands on the ground. Find the speed of the bicycle just after the boy pushes himself off.
