How do you shred really well on guitar?

I already know how to fast pick, but my fret fingers are kind of slow. Are there any techniques you can use on your fret fingers so your shredding sounds really good? Oh yeah, p.s., I already now how to tremolo pick. If you could help me it would be much appreciated. Thank you, bye!
