I failed inspection yesterday because my drivers side rear wheel bearing was loose. Please nobody say take it to the mechanic. They want $260 to do it and i like working on cars myself. I am very handy but i dont have my manual around so i'm just wondering if anyone knows how to do it.

the rear wheel bearibgs are punched out of the rotor or drum. take the rotor or drum off of the car and punch the bearings out (hammer) an old socket that fits the race perfectly is the best tool to use in this matter. Remember to punch the bearing races out too and replace them also when the bearings get loose the races get scratched and gouged
