its mounted on the top of the differential,if you,ll soak it a few minutes before you try and remove it with good penetrating oil,it will usually come right out,it takes a 12-or 13 mm wrench to remove it with,i usually let them soak for a few minutes and have no problems removing them,good luck.
The sensor is located on the top of the rear diff housing. It is held in with one 13mm bolt. When you try to remove the sensor spray some penetrating fluid on it and try to twist it. They can stick in the housing and can be a pain to remove.
