How do you replace the exterior door handle of a 2000 Honda Civic EX?

Well that should be simple enough. My son has been inside that interior door panel a lot of times to repair the electronic window.

He does not take care of this car and it has still given him over 140K miles - which I find unbelievable! We bought the car n 2003 with 60K miles...
 
U have to remove the interior door panel in order to get to the screws and bolts that are holding it and allow it to pull. i have a 00 civic but havent done it on that car but have on others and theres nothing too hard about it. hope this somewhat helped. -good luck!
