How do you remove the rear bumper from a Toyota Previa?
I removed 4 bolts from 2 lower brackets and 2 bolts and two small brackets from corners of bumper cover. Hit with hammer. won't budge. Something is holding solid and I cannot find another bolt or bracket.
It is an All-Trac and I am trying to remove trailer hitch.
Is the hitch holding it? More bolts I cannot find?
What now? Brute force is an option only if all bolts are loose.
Great tip. I didn't see any relevant bolts inder carpet. Anyone know if US version bumpers are differant?

Meanwhile, I look for those. Looks to me like bumper cover bolts on from bottom. couldn't find any top bolts.
May try removing bottom bolts and removing inserts.
Surely there are hidden bolts under cover.
Anyone ever get one of thers off?

Well, if it's the same as the Toyota Estima models I saw in Japan, you are going to need to get inside the wheel well and remove two screws on each side. Then you need to remove the carpeting in the back of the vehicle, look underneath, and remove all the plasic fasteners you see.

Then, look for some nuts behind the tail lights. Pull them out. You should be able to take out the foam insert. Then you can see the rest of the bolts, and unscrew them.
