How do you remove tea stains from a painted wall?

please help!
the reason tea is on my wall is because when something that makes you hysterical with laughter happens you don't always have control of your tea..
but I'm screwed unless I get it off... :(
 
As its emulsion it wont be easy, it will have soaked in to the plaster. You can get small tester pots of paint with brush included 99p from B&Q or similar.
 
actually did you know putting toothpaste works?? and cleanse it off wish hot soaped sponge.
seriously worked for 2 friends and my grand mum.
if you dont belueve me sure go ahed put thumbs down and report me
 
It depends on the paint and the colour! how ever dont use soapy water.. Just use warm water! It you add anything to the water it just makes it a weaker solvent! By the way... I am English! We do drink tea here! ;-)
