How do you remove a Buick Park Avenue 2002 rear 6 x 9 speakers?

I have a Buick Park Avenue 2002 and am installing new 6 x 9 speakers but can't seem to get the old ones off because of the was they are held in place. (white plugs) how do i remove these?
