I have a flash drive that i spent a whole bunch of cash for, but it is now broke, and says you need to reformat it to make it work... how would i come to doing this to my flash drive
Open up "my computer" or "computer" from your desktop or the start menu.
Locate the flash drive and right click it. A drop down menu will appear and format will be on the list. Check the quick format box to make the process go faster.
Make sure it definitely is the flash drive before continuing as formatting deletes ALL information off the drive you have selected.
If its broken... and you have the purchase bill , I wud suggest you to return it back.
If you dont have that option.. just right click on it ( My computer-- ur falsh drive ) and there is option to reformat it...
I fear if its broken ... that you can reformat it..
