How do you re-set oil change indicator light on a 1991 buick park ave?

red button on driver's side of dash (reset) in fuse panel . or turn key to run (don't start) then fully depress gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds, the light should blink 3 or 5 times to indicate it has reset.
 
There are some "hacked" computer systems available that allow you gain access to the computer systems in your car. check out ebay etc. Be careful, if you don't know what you're doing it may do more damage than the value of silencing the indicator. If it really bothers you, you can just disconnect the lamp in the dash that illuminates it. A 1991 will have a very simple system, OBD I most likely, there maybe something more simple to reset this that isn't even associated with on board diagnostics (OBD)
