how do you put a 3 to 6 inch lift on a 95 chevy 1/2 ton, 2 wheel drive?

i need to know the quickest way to put a 3 to 6 inch lift on a 1995 chevy 1/2 ton thats a 2 wheel drive with out taking it somewhere to get it done
 
honestly i wouldn't put a lift in a 2wd.your best bet would be to put rubber blocks in it that would give u about 3 or 4 inch lift but you got to remember when you put a lift in anything you wont get any ground clearance the only thing that gives you ground clearance is tires.
