How do you push your child on swings?

I push from the front to then i can see her face see if she is enjoying it or scared to make her laugh

A strange question but - when your child goes on swings at the park, do you push them from the front or behind?? I always push from the front so I can talk to her and see her happy face, but have noticed that I'm the only mother I know that does this and everyone else pushes from behind! How about you?

I push my 18 month old from the front so I can see her face and talk to her and play with her. But I push my 4 year old from the back so I can give him underdogs and all that fun stuff. But you need to do what you feel comfortable with and don't worry what the other moms are doing or thinking about you. You know your child the best! I hope this helped and if not Im sorry!

a baby or toddler i would push from the front

you only push them from the back if theyre big kids that will pump their legs hard to go high! cause then you risk them hitting you
