I couldnt find an owners manual anywhere online, and I need some help. I got a Rockford Fosgate Punch 601s 1800 watt amp. (Its older, a model from the 90's im guessing.) And Im trying to hook it up to two 12 inch Alpine Type-R's. The problem I'm having is since it's an old amp it has two power cord ports, and two ground wire ports. (im guessing for each channel) and I have no idea how to hook it up. I thought I had it all right, the subs were hitting pretty good, but after about 4 mins the amp will over heat and shut off to prevent damage, (guessing it has no built in fan.) and would kick back on once it cooled down. So I need to know how to wire it up right so it stops over heating and I still get the amount of power I need to each subwoofer.
