hey i was just wondering how you flash/program phones to work on the cricket network and what all phones can you use like what cell phone company phones or whatever or can you program any phone to work on the cricket network as long as they are programmed

That's why newbies shouldn't mess around with flashing and programming mobiles. To do that right you really would have to know what you're doing and you just admitted that you don't. And it's not something you can explain in 5 minutes either. So start small and take baby steps. Get a regular Cricket branded phone (they are very cheap on eBay) and get used to the service. Read posts here on HoFo and other places. After a while stuff will start to make sense and the puzzle pieces will fall into place. Read more, learn more, then think about flashing and programming. Would you take your engine apart if you're new to auto mechanics? Would you rip your walls out if you've never done carpentry? I didn't think so.

lol ya thats true i just ordered the new KYOCERA KX160 XCURSION BLUETOOTH *CRICKET* for a good price on ebay cus cricket wanted $207 for it and i got it for $185 so i got it cheaper online and ya i'll read up on it to see if i can learn anything

Well, actually I recently did this with a phone I found on ebay. If you read through this thread you can see what I did in order to make it work with Jump Mobile (a CricKet service).

Btw, when I first bought the phone, I knew almost zero about flashing a phone or what a PRL or MIN was. Google and this forum are your best frienRAB.
