That's why newbies shouldn't mess around with flashing and programming mobiles. To do that right you really would have to know what you're doing and you just admitted that you don't. And it's not something you can explain in 5 minutes either. So start small and take baby steps. Get a regular Cricket branded phone (they are very cheap on eBay) and get used to the service. Read posts here on HoFo and other places. After a while stuff will start to make sense and the puzzle pieces will fall into place. Read more, learn more, then think about flashing and programming. Would you take your engine apart if you're new to auto mechanics? Would you rip your walls out if you've never done carpentry? I didn't think so.
