I met a girl named Sara.
She's really nice, and sweet, and mature, so I like hanging out with her. ESPECIALLY since we can actually talk about more than text messaging and meaningless gossip.
But lately, she's sort of gotten too.... protective. Don't really know if that's the right word, but she found out a few things about me (quite by accident) that I would have sort of preferred she not know about. She's now OBSESSING over them, and for the past three days she's been asking me "why do you do it? What's wrong? You shouldn't to that to yourself!" etc... (No, it's not that hard to find out what she found out, but I'd rather not announce it on Y/A to random people on the internet) Like I said, I really like her, but it's getting obnoxious. I've told her about a billion times I don't want to talk about said subject, and she's not getting it. I was thinking about just dumping her completely, but she's really nice and it's obvious that's she's trying to be helpful. So I was thinking about just talking to her and telling her basically to shut up about... stuff and that I don't want to talk about it EVER.
If I chose to talk about it I wouldn't talk with someone who obsesses over it, and I would probably chose someone who understands. (she tries, but she doesn't). Any advice on how to sugar-coat that in a way that says "mind your own business" in a very friendly way??? Sort of impossible. Ideas?
