How do you play with two people in the same house in civilization 4?

I'm trying to play with two of my friends (they're married) that live far away from me in Vegas. The game servers are crap, so we're trying to play using a direct IP connection. They can't connect, though, because it registers as the same IP address in the same house. (a safeguard against cheating, i assume)

Is there any way I can play with them? They live in the same house and use the same IP address.
