How do you pitch a TV Show to a network like Nickelodeon?

There are these tv shows that I want to put on a major kids and family network like Nickelodeon in the near future, how do I pitch an idea to them? I'm not going to just send them an e-mail of the show information because I don't want them taking my idea so how do I pitch an idea to a network like it?

Sorry for the difficult question, but I need an answer. Thanks
