How do you pick sports teams?

say you live in pennsylvania, but don't live in Pittsburgh or Philadelphia..

how do you pick a team? you can either go with Pittsburgh teams or Philadelphia teams.

I WANT TO GET INTO HOCKEY! :)
who do I go with penguin or flyers.

what if I just say screw it and pick a Canadian team!
