How do you pay tuition through financial aid?

Ok, I don't wanna sound retarded or anything... but Im like the first one in my family to go to college and I got money through financial aid... Ok now before school starts on Aug. 24th I have to pay around $500 Aug. 17th how do I use my financial aid money for that???... Im so lost... PLEASE HELP!!!...
 
Your financial aid is already in place with your school.
Your schools financial aid department should already have your money set.

Depending on the date, the financial aid money gets released to your school automatically, and you can check this by going through your schools website, and look at transactions paid.

I also highley suggest you call a financial aid advisor at your school you will be attending. They can assure you how things will work.
