I wanted to paint a shirt and ibhave done it before and I know that when it drys it become hard and uncomfortable , do I need to buy special paint or do I buy a thicker shirt? Or anything like that . Help ! Thanks !

I would suggest that you need something more like a dye. You need something thin that will penetrate the strands of the fabric and leave pigment there. So, the shirt in question is going to have to be "stainable" (I would guess most basic cotton shirts are) and you'll have to do some research to see what kind of dyes you can get.
