How do you make the <3 symbol on the samsung transform?

So, I was looking at the slide-out qwerty keyboard on my new Samsung transform. I was texting my girlfriend, and I'm wondering. How can I actually insert "<3" into my text messages without having to put away the slideout keyboard.

I have the Samsung transform, so if you could please direct your specific answers to this phone
