How do you make real CGI?

like for example like make a extreme close-up of a eyeball moving but it's really CGI
how can you do a live action close up without using a camera.please show me a example of perfect CGI animation!thanx
 
Is there such a thing as perfect CGI? IN any case, you need to have both the hardware and the software to pull it off, but, more to the point, I cannot recall ever seeing such an extreme close-up in CGI
