how do you make money by fishing?

I'm guessing this is runescape.

You are better off going with smithing and mining, a lot more money there and a lot less time consuming.

If you get both really high it's very profitable, as with fishing is boring all you do is stand in one spot and wait.
 
Just one if you have the right buyer.

I used to get about 10-20 bucks for a bucket of fingerling mullet I'd catch with my cast net down at the bait shop which was not bad for about 20 min work.
 
I dunno about swordfish and lobbys, but Salmon fishing can make some decent cash if you're out all day. You need about 25 coho salmon to make 300$ though, so you literally have to be out there all day to make a lot.
