How do you make ice cream shaped balloon arches?

I want to build large ice cream shaped columns from balloons for my daughters dance. The "cones" will be made from brown balloons, and the "ice cream" will be white, with a red "cherry" on top. I can find pictures on the internet of what I want them to look like, I just can't find instructions on how to make them. I am good with making just regular balloon arches, but this is a new idea. Hopefully someone can help. Need to make them this Friday!
