How do you make blacklight paint?

If any of you watch lost, you probably know about the blast door map in the hatch. They used homemade paints using detergents and other chemicals to make it, so that it was only visible under UV light.
how do you go about making homemade black light paint like they did? and how do you make it different colors?
There are commercial paints available but at like $40 a tube I'd rather make my own.
