How do you make a word document a 'Read only' file Automatically ?

I have a " read only " file on a shared folder , want all users to read it then make changes then save it as " Read only '' autimatically ,,,, which means other users can not make any changes on the same file or replace it with other in the same name

How do I make it Hidden
