How do you make a website with good graphics/images etc and what software do you need?

I really want to learn webdesign but at the moment im finding it very hard, im using notepad and html and im trying to learn css and javascript but they are both proving to be impossible, please help !!
 
If you don't know web design, you can learn at http:w3schools.com/
For making a website, you should use Adobe Dreamweaver (not free, unless you torrent it) or Microsoft FrontPage (Free).
For web graphics, use Adobe Photoshop (again not free, unless torrented).
