Hi i wrote this for a preface to a book I am writing, I am just curious on how everyone felt.
Please dont take it I worked hard to get it at least semi alright.
In the darkness of the night,
Where the dark seems to rule the light,
There is one who watches me.
He stands quiet and alone in the pale moonlight,
Wounded though he may be,
With every bated breath he calls for me.
His voice is gentle upon the breeze,
Come my child he whispers softly
Into the night I walk with all due haste
For I do not want my Prince to wait.
And as I drawl near to the pale moonlight
I ignore the growing fright.
His cold hand in mine as he beckons me
I drawl closer now I can clearly see,
he is not all he seems to be,
My end is near,
no time for goodbyes
as I look into his soulless eyes
And with one swift kiss I'm at my knees
As I feel him take the life from me.
Please dont take it I worked hard to get it at least semi alright.
