Do you realize that on every package of spaghetti, there are directions for cooking the stuff? Oh well, I have just checked my old Better Homes and Gardens cook book and found a recipe for Spaghetti and meatballs. This dish calls for 10-12 ounces of spaghetti and will produce 4 - 6 servings for a main dish. On my spaghetti box in the pantry, it says that 16 ounces makes 8 servings. Maybe this will help you.
